Prague Garden Party
In June 2024, the gardens of Prague Castle will open to a new gastronomic event: „Prague Garden Party, Food festival v Královské zahradě“
For 3 days, from June 28th to 30th, in the magnificent royal gardens of Prague Castle, visitors will be able to come and taste specialties from all over Europe: Italy, Croatia, France, Spain, Austria, Germany and of course from the talents of our very own Czech Republic.
2024 is a symbolic date as it is exactly 20 years since the Czech Republic joined the European Union: A superb reason to celebrate, and with something for everyone!
Indeed, during this festival, we wish to welcome food connoisseurs, families and children, visitors of Prague, each with a specialty that will make them very happy.
Throughout the day there will be music performances by both local talents & from musicians around Europe. We will also arrange some activities for children in, what one could agree, a playground with a truly unique setting!
The entire gardens which extend from the Belvedere to the upper entrance to the park, next to the castle, will be used and divided into 3 areas:
OBLAST 1
The village square
There will be tents which will host chefs and cooks with gastronomy for all. In this area we will provide seating capacity for approximately 300 guests.
In the centre of the village square will be a stage where concerts will be held by top musicians from Czech and Europe.
OBLAST 2
The park
Along the central route, we will have around twenty stands which will each offer different specialties: French cheese, Italian coffee, Greek olives, Czech craft beer, Austrian wine, Prosecco, Sekt, champagne….all corners of Europe will be represented!
The surrounding lawns will remain accessible to people who wish to throw down a blanket & taste the treats around them in a picnic fashion or to simply lounge in the grass with a glass of bubbly. We will also provide some deck chairs.
OBLAST 3
The summer palace
Below the gardens, on the Belvedere terrace we will create a peaceful space where visitors can sit & take in the magnificent view of Prague.

There will be a visitor’s entrance fee of 150 Kč.
Children up to the age of 15 enter free of charge.
